Arts: Night at the Museum - Natural History

Do you love museums? And DJs? And dancing & sipping on cocktails?  Look no further than the American Museum of Natural History's legendary parties.  This Friday night (March 16th, 9pm-1am) they'll be featuring two DJ sets by Black Moth Super Rainbow and John Stanier of Battles at "One Step Beyond".  Party access also gives you the opportunity to check out the Rose Center for Earth and Space / Hayden Planetarium on the night of the party, which I highly suggest if you haven't visited it already.  You should also hang on to your party ticket for FREE admission to the American Museum of Natural History & Rose Center at a later date (a $19 value).  There are currently some great exhibits going on there like "Highway of an Empire: The Great Inca Road" and the crowd-pleasing "Butterfly Conservatory" with over 500 live butterflies.

This week Thrillist is offering a special $25 ticket to Friday's party that includes admission through a special Thrillist VIP line and 1 drink of your choice.  Tickets sold directly through the Museum seem to put you in the regular line, possibly without the free drink, for the same price.  No matter how you purchase it, if you use your ticket on a later date for free admission to the museum, the ticket has practically paid for itself!
