I recently visited the historic Beverly Hills Hotel & Bungalows in Los Angeles. Not only did I have a wonderful time "doing lunch" at the old fashioned soda fountain and savoring a soufflé at The Polo Lounge, but I also couldn't help feeling absolutely inspired by the interior design. Everything from the famous banana leaf wallpaper to the pink cabana stripes to the whimsical map of Beverly Hills to the impeccable arrangement of fresh orchids in the grand entryway screamed retro Hollywood Regency glamour. This is definitely a must-see landmark in LA and I can't wait to visit again next time I'm in sunny Southern California!
